War Correspondents at Brookland Production House

EVENT SOLD OUT! Brookland Production House & Tasting Room will be hosting on Tuesday, February 2 for the first-ever Right Proper War Correspondents, a conversation with best-selling journalist Sebastian Junger (The Perfect Storm: A True Story of Men Against the Sea, “Restrepo”) and award-winning VICE on HBO correspondent Ben Anderson ("The Battle for Marjah," "Holidays in the Axis of Evil").

Anderson will screen some of his work on the front lines of Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and Afghanistan and discuss with Junger the challenges of foreign reporting. 

SOLD OUT! Each ticket buys your first beer of the evening and suppports the medical training independent conflict journalists. Doors open 6:30pm, event starts 7:30pm. Come early and stay late to mingle with the featured speakers and other guests. 

All proceeds from the event go to benefit RISC Training (Reporters Instructed in Saving Colleagues), which provides free advanced first aid training to independent conflict reporters, photographers, and filmmakers. RISC was founded by Junger after the deaths of fellow photojournalists and friends Tim Hetherington and Chris Hondros in Libya in 2011. Learn more here:

STUFF'd Stromboli will be our featured food vendor at the event. $3 per slice and $5 for two slices. Tonight's Menu: "The Original" (pepperoni & cheese) and "The Stronghold" (fresh tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, basil, shredded mozzarella with white pizza sauce).
