RIPE 2017

Back for its 3rd year, RIPE is an annual artisanal cheese and beer party hosted by Right Proper Brewing Company - Shaw Brewpub and a local cheese importer, Ripe Specialty Foods. The big event this year will be held on Sunday, April 2nd, 1pm - 3pm at the Shaw Brewpub. Tickets are $40 and includes all you can eat cheese, 3 beer samples, tax, gratuity and a really fun time.

EAT CHEESE

Cheese, lots of really good cheese, will be available in all forms from local producers and importers. In addition to cheese in the "straight up" form, taste melted cheese from raclette and fondue stations, and passed cheesy bites from Chef Jonatan Bohr. In addition to cheese, sample accoutrements from Philosophy Foods and Gordy Pickles and palate cleansers from Moorenko's Ice Cream.

DRINK BEER

Right Proper always brings out all the stops for Ripe, tapping specialty vintage beers and beers with cheese in mind. The ticket price includes three 4-oz samples of Right Proper beers. The full beverage menu will also be available.  Our friends from Distillery Lane Ciderworks will be on hand to sample cheese-minded ciders.

Cheesemakers and cheese pros travel from near and far to join us for Ripe, so don't miss this rare opportunity to learn from the experts.
