Right Proper Brewing Company has established roots in a third DC neighborhood to help us further our mission — to be a community hub and a hometown brand for those who call DC home. We are so excited to open another neighborhood brewpub in the Eckington neighborhood, a residential area in NoMa, located across from the Bouldering Project and near Alethia Tanner Park and the Metropolitan Branch Trail. Construction is anticipated to start in July of 2025 with an opening slated for the end of 2025.

This is always the million dollar question for any new project. Our current goal is fall, 2026.

Not yet! But you’re welcome to apply at one of our other locations to become familiar with the company. We will open applications for the brewpub in the summer of 2026.

Yep, full scratch-kitchen. We’ll start with the classic pub fare we’re know for - Fried Chicken Sandwich, Hand-Cut Fries, and Beer-Battered Cheese Curds. We’ll add seasonal changes and nightly additions depending on what the people want.

Yes! We’ll have a 5-barrel brew system that guests will be able to see from the dining room (and the street!). We’ll focus on traditional ales and lager there. We’ll also serve our core lineup (produced in Brookland) and some funky beers and sours (produced at Urban Garden Brewing).
