Big Government: Big Government’s brand of indie rock weaves brass-infused power with danceworthy rhythms and lighthearted fun. Formed in early 2024, they’ve brought their unique sound to clubs, apartments, and porches around the DMV, and expanded their set of original songs along the way. Big Government’s lyrics elevate their perspectives with piercing prose, while their songwriting draws influence from artists like Steely Dan, King Crimson, Peach Pit, and the Strokes.

Jack Lavin: Jack Lavin is a DC-based singer-songwriter who prides themself on loud, fast, and complex songs.  Jack will be playing with @kirahday, @pdwu.music, and @joeyjdrums, a dream team of fantastic musicians Jack’s been wanting to work with forever.  Jack tends to write music when something bothers them, whether it's the rise of AI or the failure of their AC.  Major influences: David Bowie, Meat Loaf, the Crate & Barrel in-store playlist, and Fall Out Boy.
